Luxury Boarding for Your Feline Friends

Leaving town for the weekend or an extended trip?  Treat your cats to a stay at SW Washington’s most unique feline facility.

About Us

At The Cats Meow Luxury Boarding we have created a unique environment for the comfort, safety and entertainment of your cats. Caring for your loved ones is our top priority and we pride ourselves in the highest standards of animal care.

The accommodations we offer are our Deluxe Studios, which can be doubled in size with a connecting door, Luxury Suites or the Penthouse. All of these individual rooms feature climbing structures, skyboxes and comfortable bedding areas. Our Luxury Suites also have the choice of bird viewing areas or T.V viewing. The larger Penthouse is not only roomy, but has lots of natural daylight surrounded by windows and a view of our reception.

Staff

JoJo Schmidt – Owner: Over the past several years Jo has volunteered in animal shelters nationwide promoting adoptions/events, running foster care programs and developing awareness for homeless animals. She is a key volunteer for the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society located here in Clark County. Her most recent position of receptionist/vet assistant has allowed her to develop experience within the medical field, which will be so important when caring for cats boarding within this facility. Her dream has always been to promote the connection between cat owners and the cats in need of loving homes by combining cat boarding with a non-profit connection.

AmberAmber Groff – Partner: Ambers experience with animals began in childhood and continues to current day where she volunteers with the West Columbia Gorge Humane Society. She has assisted with transportation for the adoption sites and is currently working in the Feral Retrieval division. This program brings stray mothers and kittens into the shelter system. She has also volunteered with Pet Aid of Washington, Kootenai Pet Rescue and a Primate Rescue in Dallas Oregon. After high school she worked for a local vet for over 2 years, and again for a vet in Anchorage AK. After so many years of dedicated work with animals, Amber is excited to bring that passion into her work at “The Cats Meow”.
